Thank you for choosing Apollo Scholars for your child’s online group tuition! This guide explains our straightforward booking, payment and lesson process using Zoom and its built-in whiteboard tool.

1. Booking and Payment Process

• Select your preferred session time by contacting us.
• We confirm group availability and send you a private payment link.
• Payment must be completed at least 72 hours before your session to secure your place.

Our Group Tuition Prices (per person per hour):

• KS3: £45
• GCSE: £50
• A-Level: £55

Please note: Each session requires a minimum of 2 students and lasts 1 hour.

2. Preparing for Your Session

Once payment is received, we will email you:

• A Zoom link for the live video tuition session.
• Instructions on how to use Zoom.

These details are sent at least 24 hours before your session.

3. What You Will Need

• A computer, laptop, or tablet with internet access.
• A quiet, distraction-free space to learn.
• Pen and paper for notes and calculations.

4. During Your Tuition Session

• Join the session by clicking the Zoom link at the scheduled time.
• We will lead the lesson using video and screen sharing.
• The Zoom whiteboard will be used for interactive teaching. You can follow along, solve problems and collaborate live.
• Feel free to ask questions and engage throughout the session.

5. After Your Session

• We will provide homework and/or revision tasks.
• You will have the option to purchase personalised session notes.
• You can book your next session at any time.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

To respect everyone’s time:

• Payment is due 72 hours before the session.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled once free of charge.
• Missed sessions without notice will be charged in full.
